How to Clear Twitter Cache

If you ever change an article, blog post which has been shared previously to twitter you notice that when you share again that post, Twitter is still showing the old preview instead showing the updated post.

To resolve that you need to tell Twitter to purge its own internal cache. Head over to the Twitter Card Validator tool.
Insert the URL of the updated blog post and click “Preview card.” 

This clears the cache on the Twitter side and the tweet is now showing the accurate and updated description including a new image if you changed this as well.
